Mike Sarson (East-West Detox), Dr. Vanessa Crawfor (Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist), Fr. Joe Pereira (Kripa Foundation) and Fr. Laurence Freeman (WCCM), were speakers at the the Meditatio Seminar Meditation and Addiction: The Way Through held in London Tuesday, 30th October. The seminar brought together a variety of perspectives on the spiritual dimensions of recovery and to show how meditation can help in the prevention and treatment of addiction. Linda Kaye, director of the Christian Meditation Centre in Neptune Beach, Florida and May Nicol leader of an 11th Step group in London, led a workshop on "Christian Meditatio as a 11th step practice.![]() |
