The True self isn’t constructed. It emerges subtly, gently; it emerges through the dismantling of illusion. It’s the gentlest way and the most effective way of subversion of the powers of illusion and deception. You could argue until you are blue in the face with someone or with yourself, but in the end what really demolishes the structures of illusion and deception and self-deception is silence.
