Modern life is stressful for we live in a stressful culture. The cyber culture that we live in convinces us that we are stressed. This is a major issue of life, so it is perfectly healthy that you would see the need to relax as an important part of what you would hope to learn from meditation. Some of you mentioned about control of emotions. One of the gifts of meditation is that it does bring about a harmonising of the emotional, the intellectual, the professional, the physical aspects of our being. We are not just bodies, we are integrated human beings. So that’s what makes us into creative and fruitful human beings as well.
