The Creative pulse is common to all of us , we all share in life of the Holy Spirit,‘the Creator’ so we were born to be creative. In this talk we will explore how the many possibilities of our creative lives can become a portal to the present. How we as meditators can see how our practice of meditation can deepen our confidence and call to exercising our creativity. Acknowledging and exploring this gives us a deeper awareness of gratitude and unity. The definition of creativity has wide possibilities and acknowledging these and the rich gifts of our imagination are often gifts we overlook. We often feel inadequate creatively because we have been taught that these gifts are linked to talent and skill . But we will explore the ways in which we share this ‘Holy’ creativity on a daily basis from the conscious designing of our lives,to our relationships or the physical activities of gardening, drawing, cooking and so many other expressions of the creative gift. By finding a way of defining our own creative calling , we also give permission to others to do the same. Using images and exercises, this talk will seek to silence the inner critic and help open up these possibilities.
