We have launched our new retreat programme for 2026! Whether you are new to meditation or seeking to deepen your practice, you will find a unique opportunity for personal growth, spiritual exploration and immersion in the contemplative rhythm of Bonnevaux.
Our new programme features a variety of retreats – liturgical retreats for a contemplative Holy Week and Christmas led by our Director and spiritual guide Laurence Freeman ; retreats to explore the mystical tradition and inter-faith perspectives; a Deep Silent Retreat to go to a deeper and simpler place in solitude and community; retreats for those who have just started their personal journey with meditation and retreats to deepen your meditation practice.
We also have a special retreat for younger meditators which will be an opportunity to reflect on the role of authenticity and vulnerability today and the courage to be who we are called to be.Â
Our esteemed retreat leaders include Rowan Williams former Archbishop of Canterbury, theologian, poet and writer; Father Joseph H. Pereira, who combines Christian Meditation and Yoga in his innovative program to address addiction in all its dimensions;
Revd Sarah Bachelard, Anglican priest and theologian who leads the Benedictus Contemplative Church in Canberra, Australia; Revd Richard Carter, Associate Vicar for Mission in London, with years-long experience working with the marginalised; Prof Peter Tyler, Professor of Pastoral Theology and Spirituality. And more…Connect with a community of like-minded meditators from around the world. Join us in the peaceful and beautiful setting of Bonnevaux for a unique retreat experience to and discover the transformative power of meditation.
We look forward to welcoming you in Bonnevaux!
