The World Community for Christian Meditation is looking for a well-skilled, dedicated, and very well organised senior administrator to be based at our London Office in Clerkenwell.

Contract Part time – 28 hours per week
Salary £30,000 per annum pro rata (£24,000)
Reports to Head of Operations
Key relations Head of Operations, London staff team, International staff team, Finance officer, selected trustees, Directo
Travelling: Potential for occasional trip to Bonnevaux, Near Poitiers, France

 The World Community for Christian Meditation is looking for a well-skilled, dedicated, and very well organised senior administrator to be based at our London Office in Clerkenwell. Previous experience with a UK charity would be an advantage. Excellent English language and letter writing skills are important as is strong experience of CRM databases, preferably Salesforce. Generally, you will need to enjoy administration, be extremely IT literate in Word/Excel/mailchimp and feel at ease overseeing a small office, working with a team and handling a varied and full workload. 

A highly motivated and resourceful individual with a genuine openness to meditation and spirituality and to the individual and societal benefits it can bring would be additional ideal requirements. 

Working to the Head of Operations, you will be in charge of general office management, machinery and systems. You will ensure that our new Salesforce database is established, resourced and updated as required, and be able to assist other staff in using it optimally, so we can grow our membership and maximise our outreach. You will occasionally support fundraising through managing appeals mailouts and other admin in relation to Monitoring and Evaluation data. You will help maintain a friendly and hospitable welcome to visitors. You will efficiently be able to compose thank you letters to donors, administer our book contract database, keep leave planner up to date, and process invoices and payment requests for the finance staff. You will oversee and keep updated office policies and stationery orders, maintain office equipment and organise and coordinate mailouts to our members. You will be able to take accurate and brief minutes of meetings.
