The Jesus Prayer: Basic Elements and Healing Effects
Fr Joseph is a Chinese from Hong Kong and a Benedictine monk of the Camaldolese Congregation. He holds a STD from the Gregorian University in Rome and is a member of the Pontifical Academy of Theology. He taught dogmatic and spiritual theology in Rome and continues to teach at some seminaries in China. He also offers retreats on the Jesus prayer or prayer of the heart. Fr. Joseph is the editor of: Purity of Heart and Contemplation: A Monastic Dialogue between Christian and Asian Traditions (New York: Continuum, 2001); A History of Christian Spirituality, 4 vols in Chinese (Taipei: Kwangchi Press, 2012).
Sr Lorella Fracassa SMSD: From the “Cloud” to the “Way” of Unknowing: Traces of the Anonymous in John Main
Sr Lorella is an Italian Sister of St. Dorothy (SMSD). She teaches Italian and Latin Literature. She completed her training psycho-pedagogical and she is Educative Counselor. She has a PhD in Christian and Classical Literature from the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome. She has published articles on a comparison of John Main and Cassian’ Conferences.
Dr Stefan Reynolds: Prayer in the Rule of St Benedict Thomas Merton’s Contribution to the Modern Idea of Prayer
Stefan is a regular retreat giver for The World Community for Christian Meditation and gives seminars and talks on Christian mysticism. He has a PhD from London University. He is currently writing a book Learning Mindfulness with the Christian Mystics to be published by Canterbury Press in June 2015. He is WCCM Oblate Co-ordinator for Ireland.

Sarah is a priest in Anglican orders and a research fellow at the Australian Catholic University. She is the founding director of Benedictus Contemplative Church, an ecumenical worshipping community based in Canberra, Australia. A member of the WCCM, Sarah is a retreat leader, conference speaker and the author of Experiencing God in a Time of Crisis and Resurrection and Moral Imagination.
Paolo Trianni: Mediation or Immediacy? Meditation as Spiritual Drama in Dom Henry le Saux
Paolo teaches theology of religions at St. Anselm Pontifical Athenaeum and spiritual theology at the Pontifical Urban University. He has a doctorate in theology and one in philosophy. He has written essays on The Right to Religious Freedom, non-Christian monasticism and on Henry Le Saux, Raymond Panikkar, Lanza del Vasto, Bede Griffiths, Teilhard de Chardin, J. Monchanin. He works to reconcile the Christian tradition with the Indian tradition.
