(…) we glorify God by becoming fully alive. ‘The glory of God is the human being fully alive,’ says St Irenaeus of Lyon.‘ And the fullness of life is lived in our families, in our societies, in our churches, in our institutions, and of course, in the depths of our own spirit in community. And so I hope that we can each of us bring to our communities the fruit of this gift of meditation, and the fruit of our community into contact with the needs of our world.
