Distraction is a great teacher

At various points in the 20 minutes of your meditation, the attention will falter and you then become distracted by an external or an internal distraction. If you can get 10 minutes before you get distracted, you are doing very well. When you realise that you have become distracted, just drop the distraction and just carry on. Just one thing about the experience of distraction: because we all want to succeed, it seems like a failure, but actually, it’s a great teacher.
