The joy of the Holy Spirit characterises its realisation and this happens when the timing is right, when we are ready. All we have to do is to be alert and awake and then the conditions for realising the gift are there. The Spirit, that is the wholeness within us, is like a buried treasure. The digging may be hard, but as we dig we come across little rivulets of joy. Sometimes they will flow for a while and then disappear and we must continue digging. We must continue saying the mantra, no matter what we feel. Do not judge your meditation as good or bad. If we keep saying the mantra, we will surely strike the mainstream and, when we do so, it will flow without ceasing.
