Simple doesn’t mean easy

Never forget the simplicity of meditation. But simple doesn’t mean easy, and the older you are, maybe the more difficult it is if you are starting late. That is why it is so important, I think, to introduce this as a way of prayer right at the very beginning of our journey of faith, because it is simply part of prayer. We should learn this on Day One, when we first begin to be initiated into the Christian life.
