Staying rooted

No life is without problems and when we identify or become oppressed by problems in our lives we wish we were somewhere else. We look at other people and we think, “Oh, they have it much easier than I do.” And it takes wisdom to know that you have to grow where you are rooted. You have to learn that those times where we practice non-action, as in the Tao, are our times of meditation. They are essential for us to be able to stay rooted. The work of the Kingdom has to go on as well. It’s not just about our dealing with our problems. We have to confront the Dark Forces, the cancelling of the spirit as Jesus does.
