The enlightenment of Christ

This idea of enlightenment as some kind of goal we have to achieve is a very deceptive one until we see what the mystical tradition tells us, that there is only one enlightenment. As John Main, Abhishiktananda, and others have said, there’s only one enlightenment and we all enter into that. And that is the mind of Christ, the enlightenment of Christ. So it’s not my enlightenment, it’s not me getting a sudden revelation.
