That’s the great beatitude: Happy and blessed are the pure of heart because they will see God. There’s no better way to spend our time, and to purify our heart, and to support each other in. That is the work of a community. (…) The contemplative practice can start at any level of consciousness, wherever we are. That’s why we can teach it to children; we need to teach it to children. It’s harder later in life to be open to change, to learn to expand our consciousness. It can be more challenging because we’ve got set in our ways and we think we know what we’re like. But we can always change.Â
