(…) is a breakthrough happening over time, through a process, the process of sitting down to meditate morning and evening, and of remaining faithful to the mantra as we keep returning to it. This is doing something. Even if at times it feels as if you’re not doing anything or going anywhere, it is actually working. It is transforming the soil of your heart, the ground of your consciousness. It is purifying it of all of those toxins, all of those unnecessary bricks that we have installed to build a wall of the ego that entraps us rather than helps us to communicate. And by their perseverance, they yield a harvest. The harvest, we find expressing itself through the fruits of the Spirit in our character, in our mind, in our relationships, in our work, in our life as a whole: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, fidelity, gentleness and self-control.
