What prayer is essentially

I am not saying meditation excludes the other forms of prayer. I am saying that it reminds us what prayer is essentially. And that, it seems to me is what Jesus is talking about when he speaks about prayer. And that is what the Desert Fathers and Mothers, the early Christians teachers on prayer, also spoke about.
