A transformative retreat for younger meditators

Young meditators retreat 2019
Young meditators retreat 2019

My name is Patricio Lynch. I’m from Argentina. I’m a priest that belongs to the WCCM here in my home country and also supporting communities in Latin America.

With Laurence Freeman, with Tayna Malaspina and Terry Doyle this year again we will be leading the Young Adult Retreat in Bonnevaux in France.

Last year I’ve been part of it and it was fantastic, so powerful, so much transformation that we all received. Young adult people from all over the world. And this year again and we will be reflecting on this theme which is caring for oneself, for others, and for us.

My testimony through meditation is that that’s such a great school in order to learn to love ourselves, which is usually for many people, not the first tendency. A lot of people have the tendency to love others first than themselves, and meditation will teach us to do this inner journey.

And that’s a necessary step for everyone. If I want to love others first, I need to love myself. I’m caring, and I would say not just any random caring, but tender caring, tenderness, mercy, compassionate care for yourself, for others, for nature, for all.

So please come and join us. I hope to see you in France. God bless.

The retreat Fr Patricio will be leading, together with Laurence Freeman, Tayna Malaspina and Terry Doyle, is titled Caring for Oneself, for Others and for Us and will be an opportunity to deepen your sense of life as a spiritual  journey. It will combine a variety of practices –  meditation, contact with nature, prayer, body work, solitude, talks and exchange with young adults (18-45) from all over the world.
