Humility in Science: A Benedictine Advice, will be led by Dr Marco Schorlemmer at the Meditatio Centre in London on the 10th of November. Scientific inquiry is, at its core, deeply contemplative. Current scientific practice, however, instead of nurturing this facet is often at odds with a contemplative attitude to science. Marco will focus on the role of humility in science and reflect on what the Rule of Benedict can teach us in the 21st century about how to restore the contemplative dimension of our scientific activity.
