In Memoriam Mother Mangalam – Malaysia

Mother Mangalam, the president of the Pure Life Society in Malaysia, passed away on Saturday, June 10th. She was a long-time friend of our Community. The relationship between WCCM and the Pure Life Society dates back to when John Main learned to meditate with Mother Mangalam’s predecessor, Swami Satyananda. Mother Mangalam celebrated her 97th birthday on May 20th, 2023. It was a joyous occasion for her, but shortly after she fell ill with pneumonia. WCCM holds the Pure Life Society in its heart and prayers.
