Canadian flag

The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau sent a message giving his full support to the Canadian National Conference of the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM) to be held in Vancouver 5-7 July this year. The Environment is the focus of the event and the keynote speaker will be Kaveh Guillanpour, a senior negotiator for UN Climate Change and VP of the Centre for Climate and Energy Solutions.

Faith brings tremendous value to our communities and teaches valuable lessons to practitioners. The WCCM offers an opportunity to reflect upon the teachings of your faith and how you can use these teachings to better the lives of your loved ones.(...) The fight against climate change will require action from both governments and civilians. I hope during this conference all participants are able to further their knowledge on the role they can play in combating the effects of climate change.
