The WCCM group of young meditators present in Portugal for World Youth Day left Leiria on Monday and spent most of the day visiting the Sanctuary of Fatima. It was a moment to witness expressions of faith from pilgrims from different parts of the world. The group stopped on the Pilgrims Path for a meditation session at midday. The day ended with a Contemplative Eucharist celebrated by Laurence Freeman and this young group, already installed in accommodation in Lisbon. The World Youth Day is already in progress, Lisbon is vibrant, a global gathering of different faith groups. The gift of meditation and contemplation is present and will be spread during the coming days.
