Given that most of our communication and exploration is - for the moment – online,
what better time to take part in an online retreat?

A 12-session meditation series by Laurence Freeman.

What you will discover on this retreat:

– Session 1

How to Meditate

Meditation is a practice that bears fruit. Meditate with complete relaxation and stillness of mind and spirit.

– Session 2

Contemplation

Meditation develops three essential qualities of the human mind and spirit. The three essential qualities make up what is called contemplative dimensions. These essential qualities make up silence, stillness, and simplicity.

– Session 3

Daily Life

Integrate meditation into daily life. Choosing regular times will help develop this practice into a natural habit.

– Session 4

Love

The contemplative practice is a word of loving. Meditation transforms the spirit and mind in a more loving way. Meditation helps overcome self-imposed boundaries that prevent you from loving.

– Session 5

Joy

The second fruit of meditation is joy. Love is joyful. Joy springs up within oneself through meditation.

– Session 6

Peace

Peace is the harmony that unites one another through conflict. Shalom is the peace that passes understanding. Peace is something that is always with you but found through meditation.

– Session 7

Patience

Patience is about being real and accepting things as they are with no judgement. Meditation teaches us patience through consentration.

– Session 8

Kindness

Kindness comes from the word that means king. Small acts of kindness are a way to unite one another. Meditation is a small act of kindness to oneself.

– Session 9

Fidelity

Goodness becomes one of the fruits of the spirit that is experienced through life and being in touch with our own essential goodness.

– Session 10

Gentleness

Meditation generates gentleness through the spirit. Gentleness comes from being harmoneous to others.

– Session 11

Fidelity

Self-control is an aspect of human character needed to move forward in life. Self-control is gained through contemplative discipline in morning and evening meditation.
