Our online Remembrance of John Main will be transmitted from Bonnevaux on Tuesday 30 December, beginning at 5.00 pm (CET) and concluding at 6.00 pm with a Contemplative Eucharist and meditation. This date marks the anniversary of his death in 1982.
The programme will open at 5.00 pm with a brief overview of his life and legacy, as we look ahead to the centenary of his birth on 26 January 2026. After listening to a talk by John Main, we will hear meditators from around the world share how his life and teaching have influenced them and the wider world. The Contemplative Eucharist begins at 6.00 pm.
This event will include simultaneous interpretation into Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
