Freedom from fear. So often we’re frightened of all sorts of things that we may be able to name. And sometimes we can’t name them, they are a kind of nameless anxiety, the feeling that something is bound to go wrong, or some terrible disaster is going to happen. So freedom from fear, freedom from the past. Growing lucidity is another element of the state of conversion, clarity, being able to see reality without the filters of our ego and the self-distortion of the ego.
