Weekend silent retreat in time of transition for the Community in Germany

The German National Community met in Würzburg/Oberzell (7-8 July) for a silent retreat led by Fr. Laurence Freeman. Several WCCM national coordinators were attending the retreat to connect regionally and also to be part of the transition of coordination.

We thanked Christiane Floyd for her five years of service for the community and expressed our hopes that she will continue to help with translation and more in the future. The German community has grown under her guidance and we are now looking forward to new challenges. As a sign of transition she forwarded a drawing of the Haus Klara where the community meets annually for the silent retreat to her successor Susanna Melzer.
