WYD Day 4: Last session with Fr. Laurence and participation in the Way of the Cross
On Friday, August 4, Fr. Laurence led the last session with the WCCM group at World Youth Day. He gave a general review of the experience of being at the event in Portugal and spoke about the stages of the journey of meditation. In the afternoon, members of the group went to greet Pope Francis on the streets of Lisbon and took part in the Way of the Cross celebration at Colina do Encontro.
World Youth Day is coming to an end, with the schedule including the Evening Vigil (on Saturday) and Missioning Mass, both with Pope Francis at Campo da Graça.
