JMS 2004: Heart of Flesh – A Feminist Spirituality for Women and Men

The 21st annual John Main Seminar took place in Vermont, USA, and welcomed Joan Chittister OSB as the featured speaker.

During the seminar, Joan begins her talks with the larger questions: Who is God? Who are we? What do those things have to do with the way we see the world? As we listen to her words, we are brought into a greater awareness of our place and our influence in this most trouble and wonderful world.

Benedictine Sister Joan Chittister, noted national and international lecturer, columnist and widely published author of over 30 book, serves as co-chair of the Global Peace Initiative of Women, a partner organization of the UN which facilitates a worldwide network of women peace builders. An elected fellow of Cambridge University, Sister Joan is a social psychologist and communications theorist with a doctorate from Penn State University.
